As a kid, he would practice the art of sport fishing on local salt-water boats. It was not until college, where he pursued his Entrepreneurship degree, that he would begin fishing freshwater. At San Jose State, he became the president of the bass fishing club where he competed against other colleges from around the nation. He fished collegiate national freshwater competitions twice, first at Lake Chatuge, Georgia and then at Lake Wheeler, Alabama.\u00a0 Patrick was born into a fishing family and loves all sorts of fishing.
